Investors from China launched a manufacturing site in the Russian Republic of Buryatia, where orchids will be cultivated all the year round, as well as to produce beach umbrellas and process soft wood.
According to the press office of the Buryat government, Activa Chinese international company acquired manufacturing base with an area of six hectares in Bryansk village, within the framework of the agreements reached with the republican authorities.
At present, sawmill equipment and woodworking machinery are being installed there. The investors plan to process up to 120,000 cubic meters of wood, as well as to build warehouses with a total area of over 50,000 square meters.
The first greenhouse producing orchids is scheduled to be put in operation in the second quarter of this year.
