Kalashnikov, a Russian concern incorporated in Rostec state company, has supplies a consignment of shotguns to Indonesia’s counterdrug agency. Interfax news agency reports on Monday.




The first consignment of Saiga-12C, a 12-gauge shotgun available in a wide range of configurations, was delivered to the National Directorate for Counternarcotic Actions of Indonesia. This consignment is strategically crucial for expansion of export of civil products, as well as for strengthening overseas cooperation, the concern’s press office told Interfax on the 13th of February.

According to Kalashnikov’s representative, Saiga-12C has already given a good account of itself on the weapons market.

The Saiga-12 is manufactured by the arms division of Izhmash, in Russia.
