Ukrainian government intends to consider imposing emergency rule in the national energy sector, in connection with the fact of cola delivery block and reduction of resources for electricity generation, UNIAN news agency reports on Monday with the reference to Ukrainian Prime Minister, Volodymyr Groysman.
The question is planned to be raised at a session of anti-crisis energy commission.
Volodymyr Groysman noted that the issue of reasonability of imposing emergency rule was on the commission’s agenda.
“It shouldn’t be allowed to drag on until the moment that the strategic resources of coal are decreased,” he said.
As a reference, since the 25th of January, 2017, Lugansk – Popasnaya railway was blocked within the framework of Donbass trade blockade, what has led to suspension of coal supplies.
