On Sunday, Bloomberg news agency released an updated ranking of the 500 most richest people in the world with eight Russian citizens in its first hundred.
Leonid Mikhelson, a shareholder of SIBUR, the Russia’s largest petroleum and chemical holding, is ranked first among the richest Russians, according to The Bloomberg Billionaires Index. He is on 47th position with a fortune of $17.5 billion and is followed by the head of Norilsk Nickel, Vladimir Potanin, who took the 51st position with $16.6 billion.
The 54th position is held by the head of Severstal’s Board of Directors, Alexey Mordashov ($16,5 billion). He is followed by the head of Renova group, Viktor Vekselberg, in 62nd position with a fortune of $14.8 billion.
