Today, the third phase of a large greenhouse complex under the name of “Vegetables of Stavropol” has been officially put in operation in Maryinskaya village located in the Stavropol region of Russia.
As Construction.RU was told on Monday by the regional press office, the Governor Vladimir Vladimirov and representatives of the investor attended the ceremony.
Within the framework of implementation of the first and second phases of the project, a greenhouse complex of an autumn-spring cycle was built with the capacity of 20 hectares that produces up to 13,000 tons of tomatoes annually.
Commissioning of the third phase with an area of 21,8 hectares will allow to produce 15,000 more tons of vegetables as yearly as next year.
A total cost of the project amounts to 6,1 billion rubles, while its implementation involves the creation of 350 jobs.
