Rostec, a Russian state-owned company for the development, production and export of hi-tech industrial products, announced the conclusion with India of contracts for the supply of 48 Mi-17V-5 helicopters and four frigates of project 11356 to the Republic.
This is what the company’s director for international cooperation, Viktor Kladov, told reporters at an exhibition in Langkawi.
“I am confident that this year a contract for the supply of 48 Mi-17V-5 helicopters to India will be concluded”, — Viktor Kladov was quoted as saying by RIA Novosti news agency.
In addition, according to Kladov, in 2017, Russia and India will sign an agreement on production in the Republic of “two frigates under the license” and “the supply from Russia two more frigates” of project 11356.
