Moscow offers to draft a convention on cyber security, which will include the fight against hacking, and believes that there is the need to develop an appropriate international convention.
This statement was made by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Sergey Lavrov, over the course of his appearance at the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia.
“Russia together with its partners, in particular the Shanghai cooperation organization, has prepared a draft document on rules of behavior in cyberspace, it is also distributed in the UN”, the Minister said.
“In general, we believe, and there is already relative proposal, that we should develop an international convention on cyber security, including the elimination of threats and risks associated with hacking,” he added.
