Shandong Gold Group Co., a Chinese mining company, said it has discovered gold deposit in East of China, which could become the largest one in the country, Bloomberg reports, citing a statement on the website of the Shandong province government.




Selina gold mine in Shandong province provided the local authorities with information about the found gold deposits in the amount of 382,58 tons. It is assumed that the volume may exceed 550 tons after the exploration work at the mine would be completed.

In accordance with a message released by the local government, this mine could become the largest in the world in terms of gold deposits.
