Helicopters of Russia Holding has completed the delivery of a multi-purpose helicopter Mi-17V-5 intended for the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kenya, the press office of the company said on Wednesday.
“The official ceremony of delivering the helicopter was held in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, in the presence of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Kenya. In addition to the delivery of the helicopter, in accordance with the terms of the contract, Helicopters of Russia also held a customer training. The helicopter will be used for the needs of national police of the Republic of Kenya”, — as it follows from the company’s statement.
Thus, Mi-17V-5 has become the first company’s civil vehicle in Kenya.
