Over the course of this year, the authorities of the Leningrad region, in Russia, intend to reach an agreement with a Chinese car-maker, Guangzhou Automobile Group (GAC Group), on the establishment of a production facility in the region.
The regional administration considers the Vsevolzhsky region as a location for future enterprise, Rambler News reports with the reference to a representative of the Economic Development and Investment Activity Committee of the Leningrad region.
“Within a year we will conclude an agreement. We have an extended experience of communication with Chinese investors,” he said. According to the other source of the news agency, the negotiations are at the finishing stage.
