The Turkish government has instructed all state agencies to take coordinated and concerted efforts to resolve any delays in the implementation of Turkish Stream gas project, as it follows from decision of the Turkish Cabinet of Ministers published by the official newspaper, Resmi Gazete.
“All government agencies involved in the implementation of Turkish Stream project should act quickly, consistently and effectively”, — the document signed by the Prime Minister of Turkey, Binali Yildirim, reads.
The document also states the establishment of a special office to deal with the rights for land during the project implementation.
As a reference, on October 10 last year, Russia and Turkey signed an intergovernmental agreement on Turkish Stream gas transportation project. The operator of its construction is South Stream Transport.
