Golden Flowers Group of Companies, based in the Nizhny Novgorod region of Russia, plans to construct in the Stavropol territory a year-round greenhouse complex for growing roses, according to the press office of the regional Ministry of Economic Development.
The company is expected to invest 1.2 billion rubles ($21 million) in the project. These funds will be allocated to the construction of a greenhouse complex of the closed cycle in the region. The facility will annually produce 13.5 million roses.
“The complex will provide a full scope of agronomic services, including growing, cutting, processing and packaging of flowers, and the storage of products in cold storage facilities”, - the message reads.
The company is considering manufacturing sites in the city of Nevinnomyssk and Trunovsky district. The project implementation deadlines are not specified.
