The government of the Yaroslavl region, Russia, and the company Kurortny Servis (The Resort Service) have signed an agreement of intent for the development of Vetreno aquatic center, deputy chairman of the regional government Maxim Avdeev told Interfax on Friday.
“A resort of European standard with an area of 23 hectares is planned to be created on the premises of a water sports center located on the coast of Rybinsk reservoir. The investor plans to invest in the project about 100 million rubles by 2021. The center’s development will increase the number of tourists in the Yaroslavl region, as well as will create new jobs and increase a tax base,” Mr. Avdeev said.
