Inter-governmental agreement on the construction of the high-speed line “Moscow-Beijing” will be signed in the beginning of 2016.
The First Vice-president of RZD Alexander Misharin told journalists about it at the forum “Innoprom-2015”, taking place in Ekaterinburg. According to him, all the details of this large-scale project will be agreed upon by the end of this year. To remind you, the Russian-Chinese consortium signed an agreement on the development of the first Russian HSL “Moscow-Kazan”.
Chinese equipment will be used in the course of the construction. The length of the HSL “Moscow - Beijing” will be 8000 km. The memorandum on its construction was signed by Russia and China in May of 2015.
