REMONDIS company, having created the largest technopark in Europe, is ready to introduce its technologies and knowledge in Russia for utilities upgrading.




As the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities press-service reports, Deputy Minister Andrei Chibis and top executives of the company have agreed on cooperation. Summing up the negotiations Andrei Chibis said that REMONDIS is ready to expand its business on the territory of Russia as an investor and technical partner for public-private partnership projects in the sphere of waste processing, water and sanitation. “New legislation in Russia provides for investors’ convenient work. We have convinced REMONDIS leaders to expand their business in Russia,” stressed Andrei Chibis. During his visit to Germany, the Deputy Minister was shown a technopark for industrial waste processing created by REMONDIS. Utilities, medical and industrial waste processing serves as a basis for the production of primary materials, biofuel and electric energy. The total area is 230 hectares.
Andrei Chibis remarked that this innovative thechnopark working on the territory of a former iron and steel works is a good example of efficient use of obsolete productive facilities.
To remind you, REMONDIS – is one of the largest companies in the sphere, and was founded in 1936. Annual income of the company is over 6 billion euro, and presently it works in more than 30 countries.
