Russia and Belarus will create “Construction” ITC within CIS

A bilateral meeting of the representatives of the RF Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities and Ministry of Architecture and Construction of Belarus took place. The parties discussed the work over the technical regulation of the EAEU and the creation of the “Construction” joint Intergovernmental technical committee.




As “Construction.RU” was told by the press-office of the RF Minstroy, Deputy Head of the Russian Ministry, Khamit Mavliyarov, and First Deputy Minister of Architecture and Construction of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Kruchanov, took part in the conference.

As the result of the meeting, jointly agreed report on consensus concerning the “Construction” Intergovernmental technical committee formation has been signed.

«We have developed a joint position on the necessity of the creation of the “Construction” joint intergovernmental Interoperability technical committee within CIS with the simultaneous reorganization the previously created ITC 540 (Construction materials and products)», - Khamit Mavliyarov remarked.

The parties agreed on joint introduction of documents in the Intergovernmental Council for Standardization, Metrology and Certification, on the necessity of the development interstate standards to avoid controversies and doubling, as well as to provide for the interstate standardization programs formation transparency.

The parties also agreed to prepare proposals to be considered at the next meeting on harmonisation of price forming systems and on creation the joint fund of the project documentation of secondary use. And to complete the work on acknowledgement of permitting certificates and licenses in the sphere of construction.

To remind you, Belarus supported the creation of the basic organization of the CIS states on the problems of technical regulation in the construction complex at the XXXVII meeting of the Intergovernmental Council on cooperation in construction sphere of the CIS countries.
