A tender has been announced for the construction of an administrative complex in the ‘Yasnaya Poliana’ museum / estate of Lev Tolstoy in the Tula region.
As stated in the tender documents, published on the state procurement website, the cost of construction work will be 1.081 bln rubles.
Claims are being received until October 21st, and the winner will be announced the same day. They are to construct the museum depository and restore workshops, the festival center, the visitors’ reception and the service center.
Tolstoy’s memorial estate, ‘Yasnaya Poliana’, was founded in 1921. There the writer spent the greater part of his life. The landscapes of the estate and the building date back to the end of the 18th / beginning of the 19th centuries and have been kept as they were.
