A tender for the construction of a major regional pig-breeding complex for 25,000 animals, “Tyumensky”, has been announced in the Tyumen region.
According to the tender documentation, published on Monday on the website of state purchases, the object is to be located in the Nizhniaya Tavda district.
The construction work will start in 2016. The design work has already been completed, and a positive conclusion from the State Expertise Agency has been received regarding all the sites of the complex.
The pig-breeding complex will produce 24,500 tons of pork annually. Over 500 jobs will be created at the enterprise.
The investment in the construction is estimated at 6.4 bln roubles. The main investor in the project is the Siberian Agricultural Group.
