“Luzhniki” Olympic complex in Moscow holds a tender for organization of the third stage of multi-functional swimming center’s construction. Maximum price of the contract is 5,677 billion rubles, according to the statement published on the website of public procurement.
The winner is planned to be selected in mid-December. In May a building contractor of the second stage of the swimming pool’s construction was determined. It was RD Construction that gained a contract for 1,48 billion rubles.
Earlier, Moscow authorities approved the creation of a multi-functional swimming center on the place of an old swimming pool built at “Luzhniki” in 1950s. Approved plan for reconstruction implies building an aqua park with water slides, a large swimming pool, as well as swimming pools for children and physically challenged people, spa facilities, saunas, fitness clubs and office premises.
