In the capital of Kazhakhstan – Astana – 24 hotels, 5,000 rooms and 4 hostels will be built by “EXPO-2017”.
As the local media reported, this was announced at a meeting of the exhibition’s international participants. It has also been noted that this summer, they will also create a special summer camp within the city, where volunteers will be invited to work.
Moreover, by the end of the third quarter of this year the construction of new roads to the “EXPO-2017” location will be completed, as well as the work at the construction sites of the new thermoelectric power stations.
The capital’s airport capacity will be increased to 1,775 passengers per hour, a new railway terminal will be built and about 1,000 new buses will be put into operation.
To remind you, 75 countries and 14 international organizations have stated their intent to participate in the world exhibition in Kazakhstan in 2017.
