The Moscow authorities started the construction work to restore the historical landscape at the All-Russian Exhibition of Economic Achievements (VDNKh). Beside this, the Main Alley will be planted with greenery, as it used to be before.
The greenery planting work will be fully completed by 2017, the exhibition press office told the Construction.RU.
Within the course of this period of time, it is planned to restore historical flower gardens and flower-beds, and 127 new fir trees, limes and birches will be planted in spring and autumn.
In summer there will be palms in the VDNKh area, which in summer will be removed to the warm greenhouses.
The total area of the projected territory will amount to about 170,000 m2. The main task is to preserve the architectural harmony of the All-Russian Exhibition of Economic Achievements.
