Supply of Russian gas to the Crimean Peninsula will be launched in the near two or three days, President Vladimir Putin announced today, answering questions at an annual press conference in Moscow.
Also, Russian President added that it meant a full connection of the Crimea to the gas transportation system of Russia. After two thermal power plants under construction are put in operation, a total electricity generation in the Crimea will reach 2 thousand megawatts.
