Sean Kouplen, the President of Regent Bank, is sure that the Russian market is undervalued because of sanctions, but it is extremely interesting to investors.

He spoke about this at a ‘round table’ on the issues of Russian–American investment cooperation at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. According to him, the Russian market is developing, which makes it very attractive. But as far as investment in definite projects is concerned, special analysis is necessary in the current economic conditions.

The USA will also be glad to welcome Russian investments, even if they are not very large. Sean Kouplen reminded those present that the economy of the USA survived the crisis in 2008/2009, which was similar to the one ongoing in Russia now. According to the American investor, “The future is brighter than it seems to be”.

In the course of the discussion the ‘round tabl’” participants came to the conclusion that Russian and American businesses are interested in each other regardless of the political courses of either country. The initiative of the ‘round table’ comes from the American party, while the RF CCI provides support for the business dialogue.
