A modern clinker, paving stone and brick production plant has been put in operation in Novocheboksarsk

On November 17th, the solemn opening ceremony for a plant producing clinker, paving stone and ‘Ecoclinker’ brick took place in Novocheboksarsk. Chuvashia Prime Minister Ivan Motorin was present at the ceremony.

As our play-by-play correspondent, Anastasia Liashenko, reports, Novocheboksarsk Mayor Oleg Bitiukov and Chair of the Board of the Industrial Military Bank, Yury Koltok, took part in the event.
Speaking at the event, the republic’s prime minister stressed that the plant’s administration plan the opening of new production lines and wished them success.
The Director General of JSC ‘Ecoclinker’, Alexander Krasnov, remarked that the plant had been constructed in a short time and is equipped with Spanish machinery, which provides for the production of clinker equal to imported clinker, but cheaper. The capacity of the production line is 40m bricks a year, made of pure clay.
125 new jobs have been created at the plant. The work on the construction site started last February, and the investment in the project totaled 800m rubles.
