The Kirov authorities have announced a tender for investors to construct a downhill skiing complex on the northern embankment in the city.
As announced on the state procurement website, the sports complex will have four tracks for downhill racers and snowboarders, plus an elevator, a trail for snowtubing, a sports and fitness center with a café, and other infrastructure objects. Once the complex is constructed, the developer will have to provide municipal sports school classes and municipal sports events for free.
Construction work will require 20m rubles of investment and is to be completed within 42 months. Claims are being accepted until January 30th, 2016.
