The “Active citizen” project has totaled the polling results for the main achievements in Moscow in 2015.
As Construction.ru was told by the project’s press office, more than 150,000 people took part in the voting.
The main construction project of Moscow in 2015 was the capital’s Metro. 29.1% of participants voted for it. Road construction (25.49%) took second place. Muscovites also voted for the preparations for the putting into operation of Moscow’s Ring Railway and the “My street” program.
Among transportation projects, Muscovites singled out the Wi-Fi network being launched in the capital’s underground.
The center of the city has become more comfortable for both citizens and visitors to the capital (28.97%). Moscow has got a great number of pedestrian zones and bicycle tracks, and there fewer cars in the center.
Trees and bushes are being planted, and 39.56% consider this the main achievement in the sphere of ecology.
About 40,000 trees and 1m bushes were planted over 2 years. 27.69% are pleased with the cancellation of the construction of waste burning plants in the capital.
In 2015, another 23 state services became available for the capital’s citizens, and the total number is now 147.
