The director general of the “Stroyindustria-S” sub-contractor, involved in the construction work at the Vostochny Cosmodrome, is convicted for large embezzlement and non-payment of salaries to workers in the Amur region.
As Construction.ru was told by the court press office, Sergey Terentiev, was sentenced to 11 months in the standard regime penal colony and a fine of 100,000 roubles for misappropriation of about 6m roubles.
It’s established that in November, 2014, Ideal PLC concluded a contract with the “Stroyindustria-S” firm to implement a complex of work at the construction site of the Soyuz-2 carrier. While performing this work, Mr Terentiev has embezzled about 6 mln roubles, allotted to him by “Ideal”.
Moreover, Mr Terentiev was found guilty in non-payment of salaries to the enterprise employees for more than two month. 71 employees have been affected by his deeds, whom Mr Terentiev owed over 14m roubles.
The verdict was influenced by the fact that Mr Terentiev fully admitted his guilt. Moreover, he is 65 years old and his health is poor.
