The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) has made an agreement with Arabian funds amounting to $100 mln for the purpose of developing logistics infrastructure in the Moscow region.

This in what the RDIF press office told Construction.ru. It was specified that the investments will be directed towards the construction of two object with a total area of over 200,000 m2 and also towards a number of territories for future construction.

PNK Group is the developer of both projects. The construction sites are located in the Dmitrov and Chekhov districts on the А107 and M11 highways (Moscow-Saint Petersburg), as well as M2 (Simferopol Shosse).

At present, there is a considerable decline in investments on the market for logistics infrastructure. However, RDIF experts believe that the investments in the “A” class logistics centers, with a possibility of further development, will turn out to be successful.

It is especially crucial that the partners from the UAE have invested in the project, since they see the potential for growth in the logistics sector in Russia.
