Governor Valery Radaev has approved a plan for the creation, reconstruction and modernization of facilities for communal infrastructure in the Saratov region.
As Construction.ru was told by the regional press office, in accordance with that plan a big rubbish-recycling plant is to be constructed in Balakovo this year. The work at the construction site is estimated at 600m roubles.
However, the whole amount is to be drawn from non-budgetary sources – half of it will be allocated by the investor and the other half by the Housing and Utilities Fund. The enterprise will be capable of processing up to 150,000 tons of hard domestic waste per year.
In accordance with the scheme, a similar plant has already been built in the city of Engels, in the Saratov region.
