The authorities of Udmurtia, a republic located in European Russia, have approved the draft Memorandum of Cooperation Intentions with the Swiss consortium SEGAS GmbH.




The company from Switzerland plans to build a modern greenhouse complex, a canning factory and a dairy plant in Udmurtia, the regional press office told Construction.ru.

The high-tech greenhouse complex, with an area of 30 hectares, will be located in the Malaya Purga district, and the canning factory, which will process vegetables with a capacity of no less than 30,000 tons per year, in the Vavozh and Zavyalovo districts.

The investors are also going to build 25 dairy complexes for 1200 animals with a capacity of about 10,000 tons of milk per year in all districts of the republic, as well as a plant processing milk in the Sharkan and Alnashy districts.

Beside this, the investor will embark upon social infrastructure. The project envisages the construction of 500 km of roads, up to 100,000 sq. m of housing, schools and nursery schools.
