On Monday, the Russian Prime Minister, Dmitry Medvedev, laid the corner stone in the construction of a plant producing high voltage electric motors.
A land plot with an area of 5 hectares will be allocated for the construction site, local media reported. According to the plan, the implementation of the construction work will take no more than 2 years.
The projected capacity of the new plant, named “Russian Electrical Motors”, amounts to 300 units per year for a total amount of over 10 bln roubles. More than 400 highly qualified jobs are to be created at the enterprise.
Technology for the new facility will be provided by the Italian Nidec ASI company.
