In March the average salary in Minsk (Belarus) surpassed Вr10.5 m.
The National Statistics Committee has announced this. Second place is occupied by the Minsk region (Вr 6,850,100), and the third by the Gomel region (Br 6,206,400).
The Grodno region is on Вr 6,000,300, the Brest region Br 5,995,200, the Vitebsk region Br 5,961,100, and the Mogilev region Вr 5,879,400.
In March, the actual earnings increase in Minsk was 103.6% as compared with the same period of last year.
On the whole, in the country actual wages increased by 96,8% in March, and notionally assessed average wages totaled Br 7,940,521 (in February, 2016 – Br 6,615,737). The average salary of workers and officials is Br 7,136,393 (in February – Br 6,652,609).
