On the 27th of April, operatives from the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) detained three deputy ministers of public property management of the Sverdlovsk region, abbreviated to MUGISO.
The detainees are Konstantin Nikanorov, Artem Bogachev and Alexander Samburskiy. Earlier, the head of MUGISO himself, Alexey Pyankov, was detained in the case of the stadium reconstruction for the World Cup 2018.
According to the available data, the Ministry’s top officials received a 31.5 m rouble bribe in exchange for general patronage and assistance in buying back the property, belonging to the offerer of the bribe, at an inflated price.
It should be mentioned that on Tuesday, the Ministry’s headquarters were searched.
