The Profine RUS company, the leading supplier and producer of PVC window profiles, has held the first tour for students of school №11 from Voskresensk in the Moscow region at its enterprise. The tour was carried out within the framework of the program entitled “Doors Open Day” for high school students.
The goal of the program, which will be implemented jointly with the educational establishment of Voskresensk, is to render help to the professional orientation of youths, the company’s press office told Construction.ru.
During the tour, the high school students managed to get familiar with the company’s activities, the specificities of its work on production sites and the required practical skills.
The young people learned about the stages of PVC window profile production, and saw a demonstration of modern blending and extrusion-type equipment, a tool shop and a show room.
At the plant’s laboratory the students could observe the end product testing against the state’s standard (GOST) and other requirements.
“This program for high school students allows the younger generation to learn more about different technical professions and, possibly, to find the one for them”, commented the director of the Profine RUS plant, Andreas Wagner.
“For our part, we are glad to help the young people in their professional orientation. It’s necessary to show the youth the importance of a responsible approach to work, and the significance of the high quality of the end product and the discipline which is the basis of any professional activity”.
The company’s plant is a joint enterprise, producing PVC window profiles.
