In Minusinsk, in the south of the Krasnoyarsk region, the construction of a 140-meter road bridge across the Yenisei River has been completed.
The newly-built object replaces an old bridge, which collapsed in spring. It fell down during the course of repair work carried out in March, the TASS agency reports.
At present, the workers have completed the installation of the middle section of the 140-meter bridge across the Yenisei River. Currently, the bridge crossing is being tested by heavyweight vehicles.
As soon as the bridge is painted and the required documents are prepared, the object will be transferred to the local authorities. According to the schedule, that might happen as early as the end of May.
