IKEA company announced its readiness to allocate 1,2 bln roubles ($1,9 m) in the development of transport infrastructure in the vicinity of its stores, located in the districts recently adjoined to Moscow – a so called “New Moscow”.
Yesterday Head of the Department of New Moscow Territories Development, Vladimir Zhidkin, received the company’s inquiry, in which IKEA expressed its readiness to grant 1,2 bln roubles for these purposes, the Moscow Mayor Office told Construction.RU on Tuesday.
IKEA plans to fully change the traffic flow chart on the territory of its trade centers, in order to enhance the speed of exit to the Moscow Ring Road.
The authorities, jointly with IKEA, have elaborated the traffic flow chart, in order to reduce the number of jams.
