Two employees of the Kalininskaya nuclear power plant suffered an electric shock, one of them died afterwards.




As the press office of the Investigative Committee of Russia told Construction.RU on Friday, a criminal case has been initiated for violation of industrial safety rules, causing the death of a person out of negligence (Part 2, Article 143 of Russian Criminal Code).

Investigation established that as a result of an electric shock, 34 year old engineer and 28 year old electrician were injured. The shock was so strong that the latter died from sustained bodily injuries nine days after the incident.

At present, the investigators are substantiating the fact of what happened and seeking clarification of all factors.
