Gazprom plans to raise a question of attracting project financing for the “Turkish Stream”, as soon as the works upon the project are launched, Gazprom representative, Anatoliy Fayantsev, said on Wednesday.
“The project was planned to be implemented under the conditions of project financing, that is why after the start of works, the active phase, this question should be raised again”, - said Fayantsev during the phone conferencing.
He reminded that it was South Stream Transport B.V., a subsidiary of Gazprom, that was engaged in implementation of the offshore part of the project.
As a reference, Russia and Turkey are unfreezing the project of construction of the Turkish Stream gas pipeline – the corresponding agreement was reached on Tuesday, during the negotiations between two leaders, Vladimir Putin and Recep Erdogan.
