“Selische, X – XII century” archaeological heritage site has been damaged over the course of construction works carried out in the Pereyaslavl district of the Yaroslavl region, announced the press office of the regional department of the Russian Investigative Committee.
In particular, within the territory of “Selische, X – XII century” archaeological heritage site, unknown builders have carried out construction of roads and erected a wooden structure to host a café, and installed there an advertising structure.
According to the source in the regional department of the Investigative Committee, the object’s preservation might require about 4m roubles.
A criminal case under the Article 243 of Russia’s Criminal Code has been initiated. At present, an expertise is being carried out.
