Another 36 companies with a total volume of investments of 8,8 bln roubles became residents of Vladivostok free port on Monday, TASS reports.

Their projects have been endorsed by the Supervisory Council chaired by a Deputy Head of Russian Government and Presidential Envoy to the Far-Eastern Federal district, Yury Trutnev.

“We have 36 new residents. Now they total 98. This is a very good result”, said Trutnev.

The Presidential Envoy noted that there were projects with insignificant volume of investment. “We were pleased to support them, it’s not necessary that business should be enormous. Middle-sized and small-sized business is a basis of economy of most of the countries. The only principle, which we follow before the documents’ examination is that there should be a new production”, stressed Trutnev.

Most of the new residents of Vladivostok free port intend to implement projects on the construction of new production facilities.
