An investor intends to build a large dairy unit “Zhukovsky” in the Peschanokopsky district of the Rostov region, the governor’s press office told Construction.RU on Thursday.
A corresponding agreement was signed on Wednesday at “Golden Autumn 2016” agriculture and industrial exhibition.
A total amount of investments into the project will total 2 bln roubles, which are partially internal funds of investors and are partially borrowed funds.
The complex’ construction will be launched in 2017 and until the end of the year the facility will house cattle of up to 1,400 animals. The unit’s construction is scheduled to be completed in 2018.
Over 100 jobs will be created there. The production capacity will be over 25,000 tons of milk per year.
