The authorities of the Russian city of Tula claimed the intention to attract investors for the construction of the first toll bridge across the Upa river for 500 m roubles.
As the city press office has reported, the project is to be implemented in 2018 within a concession agreement.
The new bridge across the Upa will connect Dreyer embankment and Mosin street in Tula. The project totals more than 500 m roubles, its implementation will take 1.5 – 2 years.
The Tula authorities intend to attract a concession investor. Driving along the bridge will be arranged on a paying basis.
The bridge will be 100 m long, with three traffic lanes and two pedestrian pavements.
The road width is 3.75 m, the total width of the bridge is more than 14 m. 17,000 cars are supposed to drive along the bridge daily.
