Following the results of three quarters of 2016, a total investment in main railway assets in China amounted 542,3 billion yuan ($80,2 billion), having grown up by 10,3% compared to the similar period in 2015, reports China Railway corporation.
Over the course of nine months, 1,210 kilometers of railway lines have been put in operation in China. According to preliminary estimates, for the whole period of 2016, over 800 yuan will be invested in railway construction and more than 3,200 kilometers of new railways will be put in operation. The number of railway facilities, which construction was launched this year, will reach forty five.
From January to September, 22 railway projects have been partially or fully realized in the country.
