As Kirill Dmitriev, the head of Russian Direct Investment Fund, told reporters within the framework of the second session of Russian-Chinese Consulting Committee of Entrepreneurs, RDIF considered an option to invest in Saint Petersburg’s real estate.

“Saint Petersburg is a very interesting investment target, including real estate. At present, we discuss a number of significant investment projects with one of them related to Rostelecom property. Thereafter, we discuss an option to invest in Rostelecom real property in Saint Petersburg,” said Russian Direct Investment Fund’s CEO, Kirill Dmitriev.

Earlier, RDIF reported that it considered projects in the area of real estate implemented jointly with partners from abroad. In particular, the matter concerned joint projects with Qatar Investment Authority fund. Apart from that, in August, Russian Direct Investment Fund and Ronesans Holding, a leading construction, developer and investment Turkish company, agreed to broaden investment cooperation with a potential investment amount of up to 200 million dollars on each part. The partners considered potential transactions in commercial real estate sector.
