The company will purchase a plot of land in Anninsky rural settlement of the Lomonosov district located in the Russian region of Leningrad. Negotiations on the purchase have been held since 2015, two sources from the local administration told Vedomosti. However, IKEA’s press office decline to comment.

At present, two shopping centers operate on the territory of the Leningrad region. These are MEGA Dybenko with an area of 180,000 square meters and 130,000 square-meter MEGA Parnas.
