Auchan, an international company, proposed to build in the Russian city of Perm a large trade and recreation complex on the territory, which previously was intended to be exploited by IKEA.
This is what a vice president of SIK Development-Yug LLC, Alexey Vostrikov, said today at a session of Committee for Urban Construction, Planning and Development at Perm city parliament. He appeared at the Committee following the results of the city administration’s report on a progress of complex development of Iva micro-district, in which his company is involved.
However, Alexey Vostrikov pointed out, that negotiations are still underway and any agreement hasn’t been reached yet.
As a reference, an area rented by SIK Development-Yug LLC in Iva micro-district amounts to 80 hectares.
