In the first half of 2016, Imaginarium, a chain of toy stores, has increased its proceeds by 22,3% compared to the similar period last year. Now the company plans to open at least 50 stores more during the next two years, the statement released by its operator Ideas4retail reads.
The first store of Spanish chain of stores selling development games and toys, Imaginarium, was opened in Russia in November 2011. At the end of 2015, a program of sub-franchising was launched.
At present, seven stores are put in operation in Russia, three more are scheduled to be commissioned till the end of the year. Over 20 stores are at the stage of the project harmonization or under construction. At present, Imaginarium has 54 stores in 21 cities of the country.
