In 2017, the largest production of mushrooms will be launched in the Penza region, in Russia, valued at 1,25 billion rubles ($19,5 million).
As Construction.RU was told today by the regional press service, the director of Gribnaya Kompaniya (the Mushroom Company) LLC, Spartak Antonov, unveiled these plans at a meeting with the regional governor Ivan Belozertsev.
Thus, the production will be located on the basis of Serdobskii industrial park. A full-cycle plant is planned to be built there, in the area of 30 thousand square meters. The facility will produce 5 thousand tons of mushrooms per year and grow compost for mushrooms.
1.25 billion rubles will be invested in the project. More than 160 jobs will be created at the enterprise.
