A highway bridge across the Volga River will be constructed in the Moscow regional town of Dubna over the course of two years. The project is estimated at 8.75 billion rubles ($137 million).
As Construction.RU was told today by the press-service of the Moscow regional Directorate of Road Construction state public institution, a four-lane bridge passage with a length of 1.94 km will be erected there.
The length of the bridge itself will amount to 485 m, with a throughput capacity of 4.42 thousand vehicles per hour, the estimated speed will total 80 km per hour.
A new bridge across the Volga River in Dubna will establish a permanent connection between two equal parts of the city and will contribute to the development of “Dubna” special economic zone.
