The Kremlin located in the Russian town of Kostroma is planned to be rebuilt in less than four years, the press-service of the Kostroma region’s governor told Interfax news agency on Wednesday.
“At the present, the foundation plate of the Epiphany Cathedral has been laid, as well as a monolithic slab of the future bell-tower is mounted. Construction of the basement of the Cathedral is underway. We plan to fully recreate the Kostroma Kremlin in the form as it had been before 1934 by the year 2020”, - said the source of the news agency.
He specified that a well-known businessman and patron Viktor Tyryshkin said that the restoration of the facility is the known businessman and patron of arts, Viktor Tyryshkin, is engaged in the reconstruction project.
